We the current world situation, I’m sure you won’t mind saving a couple of tens or hundreds of bucks when getting your next mini laptop. Thus, I think it’s a good idea to gather in a post a couple of tips and advices you should know before buying a cheap pink laptop or netbook.

First, there are a couple of rules you have to be aware of before buying anything. It’s better to do your homework first at home and search online to see what are your options according to your needs and budget. Then, you have the choice to get the products online or offline. Usually, you’ll get better deals on pink notebooks online, but in offline stores you have the chance to see them before. Anyway, if you pick to shop in an offline shop, never trust the staff. Their job is to make you buy and they’ll tell you anything in order to do that, even by concealing known faults a device might have. That’s why it’s better to make your “homework” before.

2. Look for bargains an deals on bigger laptops that usually run for more money, but sometimes can be found with 20 to 60% rebates (usually for limited periods). Some of the best periods to look for such discounts is during the Winter sales period, on Black Friday, Cyber Monday or in the week before Christmas.
3. Last but not least, you can always go for factory refurbished pink laptops. These are almost as good as the new products in terms of hardware, but might have some marks and scratches on the case or box. According to the gravity of these marks, they will come with  discounts between 10 to 50% . Still, there’s one big problem with refurbished computers: they only have 3 to 6 months warranty. And as you might now, fixing a laptop is most of the times more expensive than buying a new one .

Thus, if i were to find affordable pink notebooks right now, my first pick would be the netbooks mentioned above. For a girl, they are just perfect (light, compact, portable) and there are quite many versions and designs available on the market right now.

Of course, if money are not a problem, you can always find better machines, like one of those Macs  (that can be customized to come in pink) or a Dell, HP or Sony Vaio.
