Turn your Macbook pink

MacBook Pros looks great, that’s not something we’re going to argue about. However, since we’re pinkies and all we like to see on our computers is pink, I’ll share with you a secret: although Apple is not offering MacBooks in pink, you can customize them yourself to become like so Nice ay?

In fact, there’s not big secret, it just involves getting a pink skin or case for you laptop. Besides the obvious looks matter, such a cover will also protect your device from scratches and dust, thus making it last longer. And of course, if you get tired of the skin, you can always peel it off and get the brushed aluminum face back for your MacBook Pro. A case however just replaces the aluminum one, and also, you can easily switch it back if needed.

There are in fact quite a few different types of pink skins and cases on the market, I for one divide them in simple and fancy. The simple ones offer just the matte color, while the fancy ones come with lots of pictures, shapes and all such crazy stuff. You can pick some nice skins and stickers from these designs.

As for cases, there’s actually not much to say about them, as they are all more or like the same. But based on my experience (or what my friends share) and overall reviews, you can choose from these three:

• Speck Satin rubberized case – a nice case that provides a smooth rubberized exterior and perfectly fits the 13 Inch MacBook Pro, allowing access to all ports and connectors. Runs right now on sale, for $37.99 , with a 25% discount from regular retail price .
• Speck polycarbonate See-tru case -  if you’re not satisfied with the griping rubberized case above, you can choose this stylish polycarbonate one, with a glossy look. Still provides great protection and accessibility, but just takes another approach. Price is somewhat similar, this case also being on sale for just under $37 right now .

All in one, as you can see, it’s not at all difficult to personalize your MacBook Pro. All it takes is the proper pink case or skin/sticker and i do hope i was able to help you in finding just the right one for your tastes.

New Vaio CW, in pink`

Sony recently announced their last line of Vaio notebooks for the next 6 months, and luckily, the Vaio CW got a new improved pink version. It combines the known Vaio looks and design with a vibrant pink and shinny exterior, making it a dream laptop for every woman or girl.

On the inside there are some impressive components:

• a 2.2 Ghz processor
• 4 GB of RAM
• a 320 GB hard-drive
• Wireless, Bluetooth, etc
• new Windows 7 OS

The 14″ LED display from Sony is one of the best available on the market and the chiclet style keyboard is extremmely comfortable to use even by those of you with longer fingernails, because each key is separated from the others (see the link bellow for more pictures). As for battery, this pink Vaio CW will be able to run for up to 4 hours, and that’s pretty decent.

Since it has only a 14 inch screen, the CW is not too big or too heavy, although at 5.3 lbs you won’t be able to carry it on your bag. That’s why you would probably need a good case, and what can be better than the Sony VAIO Cushioned Carrying Case (the one on the picture to the left), specially  made for this device, good looking and durable. oh, and also quite affordable, as it’s available right here for $65.99 (might seem much, but remember this is not an ordinary case, but a premium one from Sony).

And speaking of prices, unlike most of the Vaios, the CW version is still affordable for regular users, as it only costs $799. Once again, this is not that cheap, but you can’t compare a Sony with an Acer or a MSI for example, considering the hardware you get, the looks and the incredible build quality.
