This device is meant for young girls and women who want a simple phone that would do work well with the basics: texting, talking, a little bit of multimedia, while being cheap and not very fancy. And while beying a pink phone, of course

Pinl LG Popcorn phone: cheap and fancy

Like you can see in the above picture and the one below (pictures from gsmarena.com), it’s actually not a completely pink device, but a nice combination between pink and white that i for one find it very appealing. On the front you have the 2 inch displays as long with the regular commands, while on the back there’s the 1.3 MPx camera that can even shoot video. The phone is a slider, so on the inside you have the numeric keyboard for calling. Besides that, you’ll find on the LG GU280 Popcorn an SD memory card (where you can store photos, music, etc) and 3G.

In the end, this device is definiteness not the most technologically advanced on the market right now. But , it will surely be very cheap, so many will buy one, because it’s cute and does just the basic function well. It is not yet available in the US, cause it just got announced, but I’ll update the post once i spot it somewhere.

And yes, i know this has nothing to do with laptops, but i ran into it today and i just had to mention this LG Popcorn, as i was pretty sure you would like one for yourself.
